Alex Wuo has designed, managed and collaborated on projects ranging from museums and private residences to hotels and high-rise buildings.
Alex has led work on the One Beverly Hills residential high-rise towers; the Ward Village Gateway Towers residential high-rise in Hawaii; the Santa Rosa Criminal Courthouse in Sonoma County California; the Changsha Tourism Service Center in China; the Gagosian Gallery Expansion in Beverly Hills; the Raphael Hotel in Rome; and the Stark Sculpture Garden at the Getty Center. He has also been integral to much of the private residential design in the office, having worked on residences throughout the West Coast and abroad.
Alex began with Richard Meier & Partners in 1995 as a member of the Getty Center design team and has also collaborated on the design and development of several projects including the UCLA Broad Art Center and the San Jose City Hall.
Alex remains connected to academia and has served as a guest critic and juror at USC, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Mirman School for Gifted Children and is a current member of the Westwood Community Design Review Board.
Alex earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a Registered Architect in California, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
